Need info on this old acoustic...

HELP - Can anybody give me any info on this guitar (e.g., maker's name, history, value, etc.)?
All I know is that it was given to my grandfather back in the 1920's by his older brother so he
could learn to play. It's been in the family for years but nobody seems to know its early history
(i.e., when/where my great-uncle may have gotten it, etc. before he gave it to granddad).
Any info would be much appreciated - Thanks!!!

Nice guitar. I swear I've seen pictures of very old Gibson instruments with that type of inlay design on the headstock but I'd be danged if I can find anything in google images. You may be familiar with what I'm talking about. Anyway, if you're like me, it doesn't matter what it is --- I would just feel fortunate that I had such an old and nice family heirloom in my possession

Re: Need info on this old acoustic...

Those inlays remind me of the ones on Gibson Mandolins around the turn of the 19th century. That looks like some sort of parlour guitar that someone has jazzed up with aftermarket inlays and stickers?. I'd look thru some of the old Sears catalogs from the 1900s, you might find something that looks related. There are some features like the pyramid bridge that would be on related models.
