And, can you do the same with peanut butter, as you can with Spam? You know, spam turkey, spam chicken,,
How's about Peanut butter steak?

Mmmm, creamy. Your making me hungry for it and I'm out right now. Years back I watched a friend make and eat a peanut butter and tuna sandwich. Couldn't eat PB or tuna for weeks after that. :edr

A friend of mine in high school had a girlfirend his family couldn't stand, so they'd have to sneak off together to do the wild thing. They used a code word for it- whenever one wanted to go have sex, they'd ask the other if they wanted to go have some peanut butter.
Just sayin'.

I like a chunky PB sandwich if the bread is toasted good and hot so the PB is half melted.
PB and bannana, or PB and apple is also very good.
Nothing funnier than giving a dog a big blob of PB and watching him/her try to get it off the roof of their mouth!
:D

anybody ever make their own peanut butter?. just fresh peanuts (gently roasted) and a bit of salt and a food processor. just keep blending until it's at the consistency you like.
haven't made any since i left the mainland (10 years ago yesterday). my processor is somewhere stateside but none of family is confessing.
give it a try. a bit of a PITA but well worth it. i didn't buy any "commercial" PB from '86 - 92.
steve
p.s
any old farts remember "commodities"? killer cheese and tin cans of simple peanut butter? a friends granmother was on teh program. hated cheese and couldn't eat PB with her dentures. our good fortune.

I used to love PB. Peanut butter and bannana sandwiches are awesome. The only problem is that I ate PB sandwiches almost every other day one summer and I got so burnt out I can hardly eat the stuff anymore.I still like PB on french toast though.

I saw a story that we had them at our state fair this year. I guess they were really good I am told. I didn't make it to the fair this year.
I bet Twinkies with peanut butter on them and a glass of tang would go good together.
I think Davepaf is bringing the Tang.
i wonder if there is a way you could shove a hot dog into a peanut butter topped Twinkie. Now that would be some fine dining. :lol

Next year at the fair it will be deep fried Ho Ho's on a stick probably.
I believe the deep fried Twinkie's were like $3.50 if I recall correctly. Fair food is very expensive.
Hey davepaf, have you ever thought about investing in one of those colorful neon lit food stands? You could serve all this stuff with Tang. I'll get a Jumpy Monkey stand right next to you so we can chat between customers.:lol

Oooh, there's an idea. Make pizza's, grind them up in a blender and add them to Tang. I bet we could make a mint on those. We will call them pizzatang in a cup. Straw optional.
