Not the first I've owned, but the first I've built. This is my student guitar that I finished up last week. Indian RW back and sides, bearclaw sitka top, Brazilian RW binding and finished in nitro lacquer. It sounds really good now, and I can't wait for it to open up over the next couple of months. Incredibly frustrating but fun to build.

I would be happy to help you 'field test' it! Nice work. I really like that top.
looks great! hank's been on a huge acoustic kick lately, mostly because Nelson is a trouble maker.
congrats!

I've been on an acoustic kick lately too. I'm not much of an acoustic player, but I do enjoy it.
I'm thinking big-bodied maple cutaway for the next one :play
that means you're addicted. Try an SJ-200 style. Big, balanced tone. The cutaway would be cool.

Yes, I'm definitely addicted. It's always a good excuse to buy more tools, too :D
Ever seen an SJ-200 with a soft cutaway?:hmm
Seems like I've seen soft cutaways. I'd have to look around to find one. I believe Taylor makes a jumbo-type with the soft cut.
Mike, what a feat! Please post more pics. She fine! :60burst
