I finally picked up a mandolin. I found a used Weber y2k for a nice price, so I jumped on it. It isn't the ultimate bluegrass mando, but I hang with other styles as much or more than bluegrass, so it shouldn't be an issue. I need to learn how to play the damn thing first anyways.

I'm headed to the International Bluegrass Music Association's Fan Fest tomorrow for three days. Biggest gathering of freaky, bluegrass types. Nelson's been there for four or five days already. Mandolin heaven!
