Anybody tried the Pearse bronze strings on their acoustic? Love them for playing slide real rich bottom end.

I have played his electric strings and think they are the best. Few dealers bother to carry them, though. Regarding his acoustic strings, I've not played them, but only heard good things.

I love John's acoustic strings. I'm a diehard Martin Marquis user, but I get a few sets of Pearce's from time to time. They have a great tone and seem to hold up well.

I've been using nothing but John Pearse acoustic strings on my Martin 00-28 for years. I can't tell you why, but they just feel and sound better than any other acoustic string I've tried. I've spoken with other John Pearse users who agree. There's just something about the tone. And they last.

funny that you mentioned this as I've got a couple of sets in route to me as we speak.

I've used Marquis and Elixer strings on my J40M for years but I thought I'd try the JP's on a friends suggestion.

I have used his Phosphour Bronze in the past and really like em' My local stores here don't carry them very often.
