Right now this is the only forum that I can keep up with. I had to take a hiatus from the LPF and TFF. Things move at lightning speed over there, and I only get a couple of minutes every day or so to check in here and see if hank has bombed Ed, then it's back to the ol' thesis.

Hey Dave, I do miss the LPF. I hope things slow down for me soon so I can get back there.

But you'll have to give it back soon. We need to keep a tank around at all times for Steve. He doesn't do well out of the water for too long at a time. (Stxrus, I think it's time for a water change. Or is it just a night dive?) :lol2

yes a water change would be cool. i tried to make the background transparent with it just "mashed up" the colors on the smilie. any suggestions? my limited resources are woefully inadequate.

gonna go and fix the "ultimate" martini ( the 3rd nights attempt and it seems to be right on. will post the recipe if anyone has an interest), sit out on the back deck and look at the stars.

I've tried to find it in a transparent background... maybe I will just try to fix this background and make it transparent for you. Yes, I'll give it a try.

fixed the martini, walked outside and it's bloody raining. turned on the tv and some aerosmith thing is on. so i guess i'll just cruise here until the martini is gone. and IN your HONOR i'll fix a next one (with paper umbrella of course) and toast friends in the NW of america.

thanks for the attempt to apply a transparent background. what pgm you using? ulead, correl, or scannerpc will not work for me.

what do i have to do to put video on lilypix? have a cool piece of an octopus i'd like to share. i'm sure a small audience, but it's an audience. sounds like, "it's only 3 people, but they want to hear us or they wouldn't be here."

re: your martini. dry, extra dirty, straight up, & seriously shaken?

Has any thought been given to combining the this forum and The les paul and Fender Forums? All three places seem to be populated by the same people talking about the same issues and the software is consistant for all three places. ARe these sites lucrative or something?

Some of the same topics have been getting discussed on all three forums, but this place a real unique vibe to it.This place has some different topic areas that the other two forums don't have, which is cool.I really like the ohter two forums but the Cafe Wah stands out from the rest imo.Call me crazy but I like it here.:) :cool:
