amp settings, LP vs. strat?

just wondering what changes other people make to their amps when they switch from a strat to a LP?

I'm having a hard time getting my LP to sound good through my twin, going for a clean sound. seems really clanky & metallic sounding compared to the strat? same thing with the jtm100/4x12.

the LP sounds great through a couple other amps, but they're not fender-derived like these.

I tried fenders for years! i'm using a Les Paul i can only get it to sound Great through a Marshall" i keep the Midrange on 3
For the Fender i can only get a Strat or Tele to sound good through a fender amp" i'm sure there are plenty of people out there who can get the best of all the worlds!

Nelson, you should try your LP through my bandmaster and reverb tank setup sometime. I bet you would like it. My LP sounds great thru it!!!

Nelson thx for the settings.....I have a marshalll though & I have the same problem. I'll try cutting the mids out, I usually have them around 8 or so, maybe that's it?

Lily, how are your dials set on the bandmaster?
