Hi guys! I did some "horse trading", and after the smoke cleared, I wound up with this beautiful minty 2000 HD-28LSV. What a sweet rosewood cannon this one is!!! It's the perfect rosewood dread companion for my D-18GE. Extremely well-balanced and clear sounding. Also fills the room with chorus-like overtones and rich harmonic content. Plays so sweet and has a 1 3/4" nut mod V neck. Enjoy the pics.....I will enjoy the babe of a guitar!!! Not sure, but I may switch out the pickguard for a more conservative tortoiseshell. I am getting used to it though!

OOO-LA-LA ... very, very sweet, indeed.

I think a regular torty PG would look better, too, but I'll bet that geeter is one heck of a tone monster.

Congrats!!!

The Martin looks fine to me too. Love the headstock shape. I agree about the pickguard, is it original?

A few years back, First Quality Music store "custom" ordered some HD-28LSVs with a drop in saddle and no pickguard. they installed the Greven Dalmation pickguards at their shop to these. Thanks bros!

THE CLARENCE WHITE guitar are they not?...Or The Tony Rice Model that Santa Cruz makes?...I played one...Isn't the STRING SPACING A LITTLE WIDER?..seems to be a bit wider than a regular Martin to me. Got the Gretsch style fretboard with NO MARKERS......They sound GREAT THOUGH!..
