With my D-35, that is.. I've only had it since December, but I've come to appreciate it more every time I play on it.
I took it up to Maine with me a couple of weeks ago, and got to stretch out on it a few times with my bass playing buddy up there. The setup I had done on it a couple of months ago really opened it up --- I was doing leads almost as easily as I do them on my electrics. Bending like crazy, and stuff. The tone seems to be mellowing, too, but it may be a product of the strings, and my ongoing attention to keeping it humidified.
That guitar is feeling as comfortable as a favorite pair of jeans.
