hey, Jason, you research bears, right?

I used to run into black bears all the frigging time mountain biking....scared the hell outta me the first few times.

well, *every* time actually, you never quite get used to being out there in the middle of nowhere on a bicycle, coming face to face with a freaking BEAR.

once I rode right through a mother & 3 cubs by accident.....after I cleanerd my shorts out I went out & bought one of those cow/bear-bells.....wrapped it onto my handlebars so they could hear me coming......worked GREAT! :) :)
