Well folks, I retire in 8 months and wanted to get myself something special for the occasion. Today, I took delivery of this new Martin D-18GE. What a badass dreadnaught! Man, this thing is LOUD and sweet sounding as well! I figure this wil be my last big guitar purchase, so I wanted it to be something that I could cherish forever and remind me of 20 years of military service. I could not be happier with this beauty!!!

Excellent. I love them too. Mine's a sunburst version.
Have fun!

Natchitoches, huh gakees? We may have to get together and jam sometime! I get up that way occasionally. Nice Christmas light show...

That's right, Eddie. Natchitoches, the one and only. It truly is a great town.

Indeed....Definitely a guitar you can cherish for many years to come. That model seems to be one of the most popular models, and for a good reason!
Congratulations....

That is one sweet guitar, I bet it sounds great. I've always wanted a D-18, but those golden eras are to rich for my full time musican budget. If I ever knock out a hit, I'm getting one of those!:wail
And thanks for your commitment to the military. Good Luck as a civilian!!
