What is your favorite Travel Guitar?

A friend just got one of those Martin Backpackers, looks like some medieval instrument, pretty cool, but very small sound. I went online and found a couple alternatives: the Washborn Travel Guitar, in cool Sunburst--and then something even better: the Go Guitar, hand-made in San Diego, real wood, maghony back/sides or walnut; the Grande models look great (3/4" thicker).

Here's there link, anyone heard about them?

I have a Baby Taylor that my wife bought me a couple of years ago. It gets played a lot. I usually tune it a full step down just for fun and use various open tunings as well as standard.

As I have posted somewhere before (most likely the "busy" forum),I recently saw slide player extraordinaire Mr. Rick Vito live and for a couple of tunes he used one of those small (3/4 scale I think) Tacoma acoustics. Can't remember the model name, though.

That may be a Tacoma Papoose. When I got to play with Lloyd Maines and Terri Hendrix earlier this year, he was using one and I got to play it on a song or two. Mighty fine instrument if you ask me.

Yeah, I was thinking it was called a Papoose but wasn't sure. On that show it sounded great even through a pickup and amp.
