I'd like to hear your opinion.
Two decades ago i bought a Gibson Mark 81 (rosewood back and sides, ebony fretboard, abalone inlays) for a 500 bucks. But until today i cant answer this question! Dog or bargain? These fretless wonder frets drive me nuts. The pointy bridge are beginning to get loose since the beginning... These funny bracing pattern by Mr. Kasha ... this special sound hole ring ... the 3-piece-flamed maple ultra slim neck ... heck i dont know!! give me a hint!

Well it sounds to me like you've convinced yourself that its a dog so I'd get rid of it if I were you. Nothing's going to make it OK now although you have been playing it for 20 years after paying only $500 for it.

Maybe that says something for it afterall......

Looks like its still your call.

Hey, its been with you this long!! :-)

Just hang on to it for ANOTHER 20 years, and its almost guaranteed to become a 'valuable collector's item"...

This is what a friend of mine says. My big boy kid - 8 years old - is beginning to learn guitar. Maybe i should keep it for him?
