It seems like the cafe wah is deserted all the time. It's kinda creepy. I feel like goldi-dread-locks who stumbled onto the home of the 3 grateful dead bears.
Somebody was here at one time but where did they all go ??

Yeah, every time I come here and check "new posts", it says: "Sorry no matches, try some different terms!" Then I check the pubs to see what's been going on only to find threads that are rather old. LPF and TFF are really busy so where are all the guys who dig acoustic stuff?

Here I am! I still check in here at least once a day and try to post when I have a response. Digging my two lastest acquisitions: 1947 Martin 00-18 and a 1937 Gibson L-00. Adding those to my 1931 National Duolian and new National VS Tricone, that makes 4 acoustic guitars vs. 8 electrics in my little collection.

How many plugged vs. unpluggled you guys got?

ES 335 DOT
ES 135
Les Paul Pro

Cool, SlidingTom--that's what I'm talking about! Is the Dobro a wood body? I still need a wood body reso, and a German Silver Tricone, and...

Hi, sinner, no, it's a metal body (brass). That was OMI's version of the single cone National style, with a larger resonator (10 1/2 "), 14 frets and small f-holes (the ones that were on National tenors). I have a new cone in there by National resophonic but haven't finished cutting the bridge, yet. I'll have to take some pics and post them, so everybody can comment and make this forum a little livelier (see my post on the other thread).
