I have been talking about getting an acoustic forever and I have finally bought one but not what I was expecting to buy.
I really wanted to get a Gibson but I just can't justify the cost as I'm not playing in a band at the moment. Well to cut a long story short after trying a Gibson J-45 and a Songwriter which whilst both excellent were just too expensive I finally tried a number of 'alternative' guitars and bought a Takamine GS330S. A friend lent me his after calling me a guitar snob and I was hooked!
The guitar is fantastic at this price point, a well balanced tone and really great to play. It has the satin finish so the tone is not killed by a layer of thick gloss.
