I have played both but what do you guys think? I'm going with the D28.
And how is $3412 for a price on the SB Marquis?
Only you can decide. I had a wonderful SJ200 Historic but I sold it since I do the bluegrass thing mostly. I have a D-28GE that pretty much does it for me.
I played a Marquis sunburst recently. Great guitars.
That's a typical price. Gruhn's had a plain top for $3250. Ciderville in Knoxville/Powell Tennessee has a sunburst for approximately $2900 as I recall.

Thank hank I play mostly blues. I love the SJ 200 but feel guilty buying a flat top and not getting a Martin.
