I just acquired a freinds '91 Guild D-25. I like its tone and the neck profile plus the actions set up nicely.

The only bummer is that the body has a crack in its side running from the bottom curve to the area around the strap peg. The wood will move if it is pushed on. It doesn't seem to affect the sound however, or at least its not buzzing but it concerns me that it could get worse.

Would this be a fairly easy inexpensive repair or should I just let it be and continue to play it with TLC?

A guild D-25 sells new for around $500
How much to have it repaired? If it is less that $100 I think I would get it fixed. If too much more than that I think I would purchase another one used off eBay or somewhere.
Is the crack separated? If not a couple of cleats and a little colored glue would take care of it.
