I've had my new 814 CE for about 3 weeks now and am starting to learn the ins and outs of playing an acoustic.

The Taylor has absolutely no string buzz at all. Should I think about getting the action lower??? I was thinking about giving the truss rod about a 1/4 turn to get the strings a bit lower to make playing a bit easier. Is this the right approach or do you lower strings by altering the bridge???

What height are your strings at at the 7th and 12th frets?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I gave my truss rod a little tweek to lower mine a bit, I was expecting it to buzz but have had no problems. I am not to sire how to lower action properly on a acoustic but this worked for me.

I have ordered a couple of compensated Tusq saddles and will sand them down a bit to experiment with different string heights heights. It will be interesting to see how low I can get the strings with no buzzing. I'll post some photo's of heights once I get the parts.
