Howdy you all. I would like to spend some time with you here and enjoy some of your knowledge and passion for music and songwriting. I do love my electrics, but there is nothing better in this world than that sound of real wood that you get when you pick up that acoustic guitar and hold it on your lap. Until recently, I spent a lot of time on my computer, moving the mouse around and around, intrigued by the music I could make using MIDI devices. Then suddenly I heard a song on the radio, I think it was Lucinda Williams, and you could hear, feel, and even smell the sound of real wood guitars being stroked and caressed into beautiful music. I shut down my MIDI gear and picked up my neglected 1965 Gibson Country Western Flattop, took one long deep breath and am very happy to discover again real orgainic music.
