Well, I just put an order on the John Mayer signature... can't wait for it to come in, although it won't be until December. Anyone out there have one or played one? Any thoughts/impressions?

They're even prettier in person. I played one at NAMM this summer and it was very, very nice. Plus, it's a Martin (my favorite). Good luck and let us see the final purchase. :)

I'll definitely post some pics when it comes in! It's a little scary buying something I've never tried out, but I'm putting my faith in this one. :)

Yeah, I'm sure it's scary. But, many of our members here and at LPF do buy via internet regularly through the forum dealers, and have very good results, so I'm betting you are going to be just fine and love your guitar when it arrives. :)
