After years of lusting, I traded in my trusty Gibson Gospel for a new D28 today.
Amazing guitar, it even makes me sound good. I am sure it will get even better with age!

That's my dream guitar. I have an OM 16 GT and a D-15 (and a DX-1 for winter travel in Wisconsin). I'm building up to the D-28 but you started at the top. It's not a acoustic guitar, it's THE acoustic guitar.
Enjoy!

Thanks.
I like my D28 so much, I went and ordered a new 000C16GTE as well. I have been bitten by the Martin bug for sure.

My HD-28 is one of the true joys of my life. My next Martin will be the 000C16GTE. I do an acoustic duo and I've been using a Takamine for about 10 years for that gig. It is tired and I am tired of it. I need a Martin for my 'plug in and gig' guitar.
I refuse to install a pickup on my HD. I use it for recording and pure acoustic playing only.

I just got ahold of a Martin 000-16Gt, I can't put it down, my wife is packing as we speak, my kids have Justin Timberlake playing in the next room, I am losing it.
