Does anyone have an opinion on the Krishot Mando's!!
They're getting to be a recognized name. More data is at:

I haven't seen/played one yet.

played a beauty-(amber with black binding ) f-5 at old towne just last week-radiused-- x braced- really a nice mandolin -beautiful wood selected
-very middy -not so much bass and treble-really impressed me -but i dont have my mando ear in any sort of fine tuned mode as im just re-entereing as a player after a fifteen year forced hiatus (my old old a-50 was stolen way back and i didint replace it-)
-but i didi side bys with 3 collins (f)s and 91 flatiron artist (very nice bassy pretty but not the cut) and a used cohen f-5 with the slash holes (voiced more for jazz)
i liked the kirshot and flatiron equally - the kirshot was easier to play and a bit woodier
the cohen (about a 2001) was also nice
the kirshot was 3200 firm - while a hell of an f for the price - its lcose enough to other name brands in price that it becomes an issue regarding re-sale IMHO
