I've been playing all my life and just went ape on guitars as a kid....12 string mainly......heard about Clapton, things were pretty sheltered here no amps or quality gats so impossible to get his mid 60's sound or any other tone for that matter,so decided to do something about it in '82,contacted Jim Marshall in England and started bringing in the range......that opened things up a bit.Had my Standard stolen some years ago and have only just replaced that with a Classic goldtop....hence the nom de plume.Play this thru my Marshall 2x12 and Fender 4x10 with a g2d Classic Overdrive.............sounds incredible and just what I needed to get me doing those Bernard Jenkins licks. Will play live again before I go...........my daughter takes weekend priority right now........I'm just happy to have a really good gat, it's like the breath of life.....keep on the boogie.

Hey Goldtop0,, welcome to the Wah..

Around here, things go at a pretty slow pace. It's really laid back, and mellow. So, when you post, if you don't get an answer for a day or so, don't fret it.. It's just the laid back atmosphere of the wah.

Welcome to our home away from home.... Pull up a chair and stay awhile..

peace,

JoeP
