Not familiar with them, however, I've heard of them. Pretty original styling.

Do you have one? hank

No, I don't have one. I'm going to his school of guitar repair and construction this fall.

cool! You'll have to keep us informed. I've owned a couple of custom built instruments. It's amazing what the smaller builders can/are building. The demand is huge now for custom acoustics.

It seems like there are lots and lots of what look like excellent small builders coming up. Have your custom built instruments been from bigger name builders or smaller ones?

Actually, both came from a custom guitar builder here in Knoxville, TN. His name is Lynn Dudenbostel. He builds Martin-like flattops and mandolins. I sold the flattop I had due to huge dollars. I still have F5 mandolin #2. It's the first one available to the public in 1996. There's a shot of it in the Mulberry Street Mandolins under a thread Nelson started.

Anyway, Lynn builds about 12 instruments per years. One of his used F5 mandolins sold last week for $22.5k. yikeswtf!:^)
