Self-promotion here:
I got a woody for a '59 Reissue Les Paul last week and now I have to sacrifice one of my mandolins.
The Flatiron A5-1 is a first-year production (1983) for the arched mandolins by Flatiron, signed by the infamous Steve Carlson, founder of Flatiron. In 1987, Gibson bought Flatiron and had Carlson re-do the entire mandolin line.
