Guild 12 string

Hello Everyone,

There was a Guild Acoustic guitar for sale in the paper so I called. The person I spoke to didn't seem to know much about the guitar. The information they gave me was it was a 12 string and the model was d-4500. It was purchased it in 1998. I searched on the net for a while and could not find any information on a guild d-4500. Does anyone know anything at all about what this guitar might be? Maybe it's a d-45? Are there any Guild sites on the net that I may be able to search? If he bought it in 1998 do you think it was made in Rhode Island or California?

I don't have a lot of background on Guild guitars. Here's a link to their current 12-string page. Perhaps do a Google search?

I'll give Google a try. I'll see the guitar tomorrow and see what this mystery is all about! Maybe it will come home with me!

The mystery is solved. The "D-4500" was a number he was reading off of his receipt. It was a D-4 12 string. BUT, it looked like the bridge was coming unglued so it did not come home with me.

The quest for the next guitar continues.
