Well, since the new year..I've been sticking to my health plan and have been changing my diet, working out and swimming at the health club a few times a week and have been working a new band with my lovely wife. The rehearsals/recordings have been keeping us real busy, and now we're stepping it up to get ready to go out this spring. I'm the tech in the band and it is keeping me on my toes..(Lily's gear alone is a full time job) I'm even the drum tech!!!!!Now I have to research how to tune drums! Think I'll ask for some help with that from the LPF drummers.

Also keeping with my plan of NOT being online so much or at all since it keeps me from doing these things. This is why I haven't posted much over the past couple of months. I know Ed likes to think it's all about him (imagine that!), but the truth is it's about me :spose
Also keeping me busy is the search for a new, larger place to set up our studio. Mayor Dave promised a visit when we get a larger place and we also expect a visit from JoeP and his band . :) So I MUST find a killer home/studio. But seriously, we need a place for our band to rehearse. My Strat projects have been on hold, but we have picked up some VERY nice flamed myrtlewood for a few nice tops.....I think Lily has another LP in mind for that stuff....I'm thinking a 5 string bass for myself :):spose It's endless....:bh

just wanted to let you guys know what's up
:spose

Taking better care of yourself is always a good option! It's great that you are making positive changes in your life. Thank you for the advice you sent and I expect to be getting into it more in depth down the road.

Good morning Spose! I've been trying cut down on the internet time myself, but it's kind of tough to do.

Hey, Spose! Wow! You're up to some big stuff. Kudos on your health program - I think it's great that you're making that a priority equal to everything else you're up to. I keep saying I'm going to get back on my workout program... but keep being "too busy" somehow... I guess that's not the real excuse... :D

I've missed seeing updates on your strat projects...

Good luck with your studio search! Find the "just right" place isn't easy.

Keep us updated! Good to see you again!

Hi JoeP.! :ola

Say you have a mauve PRS shirt over at LPF and see what happens! :lol

Personally I like those mauve, fiesta red type colors. But then I am slightly color blind to certain colors. :lol

Spose, sounds like you're doing what I need to do with the exercise/diet thing. In the last few weeks, my blood pressure has shot up into the 'stroke-out' range, and the docs got me on pills to try and get it back to within reason. I think the bottom line is, I'm just too damn fat and lazy, and if I don't do something about it, this here little drummer boy might not be around for too much longer.
So, here's to you, my man, I hope you can keep at it and attain your goals. If that means you have to give up some 'puter time, so be it. I'm going to have to do the same myself, because I don't like the alternatives at all. Do what you gotta do, and I sure understand where you're coming from.

Spose,
I can't help you with the drums, but if you need any advice on the diet let me know. I have been doing the same for the last few months. I already dropped 88 pounds. When I did that, I turned into the pied piper at work. I have had literally hundreds of new patients in the clinic wanting to know what I did to lose weight. I have the entire program I could fax to you from the clinic.

Hey Spose, it's good to hear that everything is going well for you. Drop me an email on those strat projects when you get back to them, I was definitely following your progress. Hope everything goes well with the band endeavors!
