Hey folks, i'm finally back, even tho for the last 3 days i've been pretty sick.. It's a combo of exhaustion and just that crud that's going around. But, i'm back for a while.... Ihope..

Sorry to have concerned you guys about my dissapearance, but, i literally had 30 minutes to get my stuff together and go, so it was kinda drop and run.. Nearly three weeks, from one coast to the other..

Ed has missed his calling.. he should have been a detective.. He can find anyone, anywhere. :lol ;) That's why i call him Uncle Ed.. :D

Going to kick back, get some rest and just cruise here for awhile. Glad to be home, and back to some sence of being normal..

Thanks for the good vibe sent my way.. good to know that there are friends here on the Wah, and that's why this is my place to hang with alot of really fine folks.. ..

Peace,,,

JoeP

Ok Lily, this is at the IBC (International Blues Convention), on the Stax Records Stage, at Alfred's on Beale St, last Friday night. The band I was playing with was Max Taylor and the Bluzkatz. Had fun there. Even tho i was pretty much under the weather there. Met up with those guys in Memphis for 3 days of fun playin da' blues. Got to play more slide last weekend than in a month of regular gigging.. So, it was alot of fun for me...

You know, out of all the guitar's i've owned, that guitar likes the road better than any i've ever had. It don't matter if it goes from cold to hot, or hot to cold, if i put her in the case tuned, she comes out of it tuned, very little adjustment if any is necessary. That is one guitar that loves being out, and being played. No secret setup, just a balance between high and low action, and that's all.

Left her in Memphis with my tech, will go back Friday and pick her up,,, she's getting new string saddles on the bridge, that way i can either wrap or string through the tailpiece.
