Double neck = twice the price

1 neck = good. 2 necks = better? No!!

Why not build an SG firsttThen build a 2nd one. It will be even better than the 1st. Then if you still want a double neck, graft the two together.

Ed, maybe you'd want to build the Infamous Mad SG instead? Maple neck, maple fingerboard, Firebird headstock, korina or black limba body with butterscotch finish, w/b/w small pickguard, cream soapbar P-90s, a Tele control plate on the front and a Strat vibrato bridge?

...No? Well then, might I suggest that your doubleneck have a regular 12-string neck and a baritone neck with a 30.5" scale?

I was thinking aalong the same lines, Sam- maybe a 26" or 27" scale on the 6 and 12 necks both!
